Hyderabad witnessed a resounding victory as Asaduddin Owaisi, representing the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), emerged victorious for the fifth consecutive time from the Hyderabad parliamentary segment. Owaisi secured a commanding majority, garnering an impressive 6,61,981 votes.
Madhavi Latha Kompella of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), trailed behind with 3,23,894 votes, a substantial margin of 3,38,087 votes.
Despite the BJP's efforts, including fielding a female candidate for the first time in the Hyderabad constituency, the victory belonged firmly to Owaisi.
Results for the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana are being declared on Tuesday by the Election Commission of India.
