The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party emerged victorious in the recently held Graduate MLC By-Polls in the Mahbubnagar Local Body elections. Earlier today in the morning, vote counting process began at 8:00 am on Sunday.
According to the sources, the BRS candidate Naveen Kumar Reddy won with a majority of 111 votes. This has become a setback for the Congress party as the loss is in the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s native village itself.
While the Congress candidate got 652 votes, BRS candidate secured 763 and won with a majority of 111 votes.
Meanwhile, the BRS party is celebrating their victory with their cadre right at the counting center. The elections also saw a significant 69 percent voter turn out.
