The Hyderabad Cricket Association is always riddled through complication with regard to the top leadership and team selection-related irregularities. In one such horrifying development, it has been established that power supply has been cut off to the Hyderabad stadium.
Going into the story, the Hyderabad Cricket Association hasn’t paid the electricity bill that totals to Rs 1. 6 crore to DISCOM since the last 7 years.
Earlier the DISCOM approached the court asking them to consider their plea and the first notice in this regard was served to the HCA in February 2024. There wasn’t any response from HCA, despite continuous follow ups. The department has already disconnected power supply today and this brings a lot of uncertainty on the coming game between SRH and CSK.
The game is set to commence at 7:30 PM tomorrow and HCA virtually has just a few hours to sort out the power supply issue with the DISOM and it has to be seen how this will progress.
