Prime Minister Narendra Modi's highly anticipated visit to Telangana has come to a close after a brief two-hour stay, during which he accomplished a significant amount of work. Undoubtedly, the visit gave way to numerous promising developments, one of which was particularly noteworthy.

Despite the BJP's long-standing presence in Telugu states, no leader from the party has been popular among the people until now. While prominent BJP leaders such as Venkaiah Naidu, Kishan Reddy, and Laxman from Telugu states have attained high positions within the party, their popularity among the masses has been limited.

In contrast, Bandi Sanjay has recently emerged as a new face of the BJP, as evidenced by his appearance at the Parade Grounds meetings. His address was filled with sharp remarks, including criticisms of Chief Minister KCR and Minister KTR. Although some intellectuals may argue that his words lack substance, they fail to recognize that the common people require nothing more than conviction and passion from their leaders.

It is worth noting that Bandi Sanjay was recently imprisoned on charges of leaking the 10th class examination paper but was released on bail after just two days. The uproar surrounding this episode was deemed meaningless by the Parade Grounds gathering, as the chants of "Bandi..Bandi" echoed throughout the assembly hall even before Modi's arrival. Such slogans are typically reserved for Modi alone, indicating the significant impact that Sanjay has had on the people.

Sanjay's newfound popularity is anticipated to create new dynamics among Telangana BJP leaders. Those who are unable to accept the rise of his image are already attempting to undermine him, but only time will tell if they will succeed.
