The Congress leader suggested that individuals from non-upper castes were not invited. "Did you see any OBC or ST/SC faces there? It was attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and PM Narendra Modi. There was not a single OBC, SC or ST face there," the PM aspirant said.
Many netizens believe that targeting Big B is not a wise move on RaGa's part. Not only is the actor revered as a legend, but he also shared close ties with RaGa's father, Rajiv Gandhi.
Once upon a time, the Congress party leaned on the support of the upper-caste Brahmin vote in states like Uttar Pradesh. It strategically aligned with celebrity figures like Big B to bolster its appeal. However, it's worth noting that Big B distanced himself from the Congress party during the era of Sonia Gandhi's leadership.
RaGa should bear in mind that Amitabh commands respect across all castes and communities. Portraying him as a BJP ally or anti-Congress rich man is rather amusing, considering his widespread appeal transcends political affiliations.
