As per the latest statistical report from Beyond Beds & Boundaries: Indian Student Mobility Report, 2023, the twin Telugu states are sending the joint highest number of students abroad from India. Here's a brief look at the same
1. Punjab - 12.5%
2. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana - 12.5%
3. Maharashtra - 12.5%
4. Gujarat - 8%
5. Delhi NCR - 8%
6. Tamil Nadu - 8%
7. Karnataka - 6%
It is evident that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are next to none in all of India when it comes to the highest number of students abroad. A staggering 12.5% of the overall student population in India are flying abroad for further studies.
Punjab and Maharashtra share similar stats with that of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Tamil Nadu and Delhi come next along with Punjab.
