BRS, TDP, and YSCP away from Cong, BJP

BRS, TDP, YSCP away from Cong, BJP. The national parties Congress and BJP are intensifying their efforts to get the support of the regional parties ahead of the 2024 elections to improve their poll prospects and also come to power at the centre. While the Congress top brass headed by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are holding opposition parties meet in Bengaluru on 17-18 July, BJP leadership PM Modi and HM Amit Shah are holding meetings in Delhi with NDA partners, old and new on the same days.

In the midst of all this, BRS, TDP, and YSRCP decided to stay away from both the Congress and BJP. YSRCP leader said "Our cadre or voters are not comfortable with any electoral alliance with the saffron party and they never mind a cordial relationship with the PM for the good of the state,"

Jana Sena shared "There is no change in our objective of avoiding a split in the anti-incumbency vote. We have been conveying our thought process to BJP’s top leadership time and again," BRS leader says "It shows Congress’ audacity and its dual standards," BRS leader shared "Our focus is entirely now on winning Telangana for the third term. The nation will see what role Congress would be able to play post the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh polls,"

He continued "We enjoy very good relations with Kejriwal and Akhilesh (Yadav, of Samajwadi Party),"
