BJP demands sedition case against RJD; here’s why!

After the inauguration of the new Parliament building in Delhi, the Rashtriya Janata Dal tweeted a photo that is drawing a lot of criticism from the leading political parties.

RJD posted a picture of a coffin and compared the new parliament with it, calling it "democracy being buried."

BJP leaders on Sunday claimed that the tweet demonstrated the "cheap mindset" of individuals and that they should be prosecuted for sedition.

"What could be more regrettable? They are brainless. Using public funds, the new parliament building was built. Regardless of their boycott of the inauguration, members of opposition parties will attend the parliamentary proceedings. Has the RJD made the decision to boycott Parliament indefinitely? Will their MPs step down from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha?" said BJP leader Sushil Modi to ANI.

"Today, a picture of a coffin was used. What may be done to disrespect democracy more? When a new parliament is dedicated to the nation on a day of pride and auspiciousness, the political party compares it to a coffin, which exposes its superficial worldview. They posted an image of a casket on Twitter. Such individuals need to have a sedition case filed against them," the BJP leader continued.
