YSRCP leader and former minister RK Roja made strong comments about the lack of safety for girls in the state. Referring to the brutal incident in Badvel, where a young student was set on fire by her ex-boyfriend, Roja expressed her outrage. She criticized the current situation, stating that the state has become "Rape Andhra Pradesh" due to the continuous atrocities against women.

Roja specifically condemned the series of crimes against women under the current coalition government. She shared a video on social media showing the grieving mother of the victim, questioning leaders like Chandrababu, Home Minister Anita, and Pawan Kalyan, asking if they can hear the cries of the heartbroken mother. Roja called for justice for the victim’s family and urged leaders and the public to respond with humanity.
