Pawan Kalyan was miffed with Kollywood hero Karthi for making light of the Tirupati Laddu issue on Monday night. The leader of Jana Sena Party warned him to watch his language.
Just hours after Pawan Kalyan's censure, Karthi tried his best to put an end to the controversy. In his social media post, Karthi made it clear that he has the highest regard for traditions. The 'Oopiri' actor also described himself as a devotee of Venkateswara Swamy.
"Dear Pawan Kalyan sir, with deep respects to you, I apologize for any unintended misunderstanding caused. As a humble devotee of Lord Venkateswara, I always hold our traditions dear. Best regards," the actor, known for Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Kaithi', 'Japan' and several other movies, wrote on X.
Karthi has acted in 'Sathyam Sundaram', which hits the screens this Saturday (September 28). The film also stars Arvind Swami and is described as a comedy drama with a highly emotional screenplay. C Prem Kumar is its helmer, while Govind Vasantha is its music director.
