The YSR Congress party candidates Akepati Amarnath Reddy from Rajampet and Dasari Sudha from Badvel assembly constituencies are declared as winners by the Election Commission.
As per the official information provided by the EC, Amarnath Reddy secured 92,609 votes and won with a margin of 7,016 votes in the Rajampet constituency. Dasari Sudha secured 90,410 votes and won with a margin of 18,567 votes from the Badvel constituency.
While Jagan Mohan Reddy secured a victory for himself from the Pulivendla assembly constituency, the party faced its worst defeat ever to the opposition alliance of TDP-Jana Sena and the BJP parties.
