With a day to go for the final counting for Andhra Pradesh General election 2024, Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta warned the social media miscreants not to share information which could potentially instigate the crowds.
Addressing the same, the DGP in a note said, “Some people are creating unrest in the society by challenging the rival camps on social media platforms, this is unacceptable. And some are creating tension by making personal comments,” said DGP Harish Kumar Gupta adding that “they will not be ignored under any circumstances and strict measures will be taken like opening rowdy sheets and applying PD ACT along with registering cases against them under IT act”.
