The Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy EVM tampering incident in Macherla is the talk of the town now. Incidentally, a set of pics from the location where we see the VVPAT slips are trending on social media.
The thing to be noticed here is that the majority of these slips have TDP poll on them.
This set of pics are clearly instating that the polling is heavily in favour of the Telugu Desam, opine the TDP cadres.
But in reality, the reason why Pinnelli destroyed the EVM is due to the fact that there were multiple allegations of rigging here.
When there’s rigging, there will be a clear case of polarization of votes and that’s exactly what might’ve been the case with this constituency.
If anything, this argument by TDP strengthens the YCP’s claim that rigging had actually happened in the center.
