On Tuesday, Arogyasree Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Lakshmisha said that bill payments of Rs.203 crore have been made to Arogyasree network hospitals.
He added that the remaining bills will be paid as soon as possible and appealed to the hospital owners for their cooperation. He emphasized that the scheme prioritizes providing free medical services to poor and middle-class patients.
It is known that discussions are ongoing between the officials of Arogyasree Trust and the representatives of the Andhra Pradesh Specialty Hospital Association (ASHA) regarding the payment of pending bills. Meanwhile, Dr. Lakshmisha clarified that Arogyasree services are continuing as usual throughout the state.
