In the wake of erupting violence in Andhra Pradesh elections, the Election Commission has issued key instructions to the managers of petrol stations in the state. According to the general election rules, it has been suggested not to fill containers and bottles with petrol and diesel.
It has been directed to refuel only the vehicles till the further process of counting of votes is completed. The Civil Supplies Department has sent notices to the petrol and diesel tank owners in the state. It has warned that the licence of the bank will be cancelled if the provisions are violated.
Ravi Gopalakrishna, President of the Dealers Association, requested that all the owners must follow the EC and Civil Supplies Department orders.
