Last afternoon, Allu Arjun toured Nandhyal to lend his support to the election campaign of his good friend Silpa Ravi Chandra Reddy. Allu Arjun said he isn't affiliated with any party and he came to Nandhyal only to support his friend Ravi. But this Nandhyal trip has gotten a shambolic ending.
Last night, a police case under 188 section was filed against Allu Arjun and Silpa Ravi for not taking prior permission to hold the meeting.
Today, another legal hurdle has preceded this Nandhya trip of Bunny and it has landed the local SP in trouble.
The Election Commission has asked the Andhra Pradesh DGP to file charges against Nandhyal SP Raghuveera Reddy and take action against him for failing to impose the election code in Nandhyal. The primary allegation is that he couldn't impose the election code while such a massive public meeting was being held in the constituency last afternoon.
The local SP will have to face a departmental investigation for the improper handling of the situation.
In the end, Allu Arjun's trip has landed not just himself and his friend Silpa Ravi in trouble but also the local SP. The trip has certainly been a frantic one with so much going against it.
