Telugu Desam Party is in a spot of bother as the party is being put through humiliation at every corner by the YSR Congress outfit.
Now, in a new lowest of lows to Telugu Desam, the party is contesting in fewer seats than where the JanaSena’s glass symbol is contesting.
With the Election Commission announcing that JanaSena’s glass tumbler symbol is a free symbol, any independent candidate in the constituencies that JanaSena is not contesting can use the glass tumbler symbol.
In the end, the JSP will be using glass tumbler symbol in 21 MLA seats and 2 MP seats while in the other 154 assembly and 23 MP constituencies, independent candidates will be given the symbol.
Essentially speaking, Telugu Desam will contest only 144 assembly seats and 17 parliamentary seats while the glass symbol will contest all 175 assembly and 25 MP segments.
