Nara Lokesh’s weak talk on Mangalagiri

Nara Lokesh had a miserable election campaign from Mangalagiri in 2019 as he ended up losing to Alla Ramakrishna Reddy by a big margin.

Now, Lokesh has come up with weak talk on the shocking defeat in 2019.

“I am a third generation politician. I did not want to go for a safe seat. I always believe that one should take a tough seat, fight hard and win to prove oneself" Lokesh said.

But the issue is that Mangalagiri falls under Amaravati capital region that the TDL government proudly announced then.

On top of that, Lokesh had already served as a three-portfolio minister so he was no stranger to power. He already had enough resources to win the election, apart from being the third generation politician, as claimed by himself.

Despite all this, Lokesh ended up losing the polls and this can’t be justified by some weak talk about contesting in a historically weak constituency.
