Unanimous call by pensioners: We want Jagan as CM again

On the 11th day, as YS Jagan meets pensioners in Darsi village, pensioners spoke their hearts out with the Chief Minister and shared their pain.

Prabhavati, a widow pensioner from Darsi village, said,‘I have pain in my knees and can't walk. But for Rs 3000 this month, I had to go from pillar to post. I was told to visit 3 places to collect the money. We need a volunteer system and we need Jagan again. All the ration, pension and schemes were coming to our doorsteps. Our MLA candidate Shivakumar too visits us routinely to check on our well being.”

Another pensioner from Sivajinagaram Ward, Darsi Village, said, “It's been 15 years since my husband passed away, and I'm still without a house. I've been depending on my pension all this while and saved Rs 1,30,000. Unfortunately, this month, the volunteer didn't deliver my pension. When I asked my son, he said I had to go to Darsi to collect it. My health isn't great, and I struggle to walk.”
