‘I proudly say that I gave a ticket to a lorry driver; what is wrong with that, Naidu?’’: Y S Jagan

Jagan Mohan Reddy once again establishes strongly that their party is for the poor and minorities. In a recent public meeting, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave a solid counter for TDP leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who insulted Singanamala, YCP candidate Veeranjaneyulu, for being a lorry driver.

Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “Yes, I proudly say that I gave a ticket to a tipper driver. But, what is wrong in that Chandrababu Naidu? I gave tickets to the poor. Veeranjaneyulu might be a tipper driver, but he is more educated than Naidu. He studied, MA Economics and B.Ed. Despite studying he did not get a job, so in order to maintain his family, he became a driver. Though he did not have money, he was being sincere to the party and giving his services. And gave an MLA ticket.”

Jagan further said that out of 175 MLA tickets and 25 MP tickets, YSRCP party gave 100 of them to the SC, ST and minorities giving them 50 percent representation. Andhra is going for the polls on May 13, 2024.
