Speaking about this, Perni said, “Even before CBI release its official statement TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu jumped into action and levelled a baseless allegation on YSRCP. However it was Naidu’s relatives who were involved in the drugs racket”. Perni further demanded that “The role of Chandra Babu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh has to be probed in this regard.”
YSRCP leaders former minister Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani), YSRCP general secretary and MLC Lella Appireddy and Vijayawada Central sitting MLA Malladi Vishnu were among who met the Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena and filed a complaint.
