Jagan Wave From March 16: What Can TDP-JSP Do?

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy opens up a new facet altogether when elections are on the horizon. This was seen in 2019 when Jagan swept the state with the Praja Sankalpa Yatra and led his party to a mega 151 seat win.

Now again, with the 2024 election fast approaching, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is entering the election mood again and he is certainly packing great impetus.

Jagan is set to kickstart the election campaign for YSR Congress from the 16th of March following a customary prayer session at the YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya. He will announce all 175 MLA and 25 MP candidates of his party on the same day which will mark the commencement of his electoral battle.

Once this is done, Jagan will go to Icchapuram, Vijayawada and Nellore constituencies for his election campaign and hold massive public meetings. Given the kind of mass image that Jagan has, these meetings will certainly be received with a huge fanfare.

With Jagan already entering the election mode, it has to be seen how the opposition parties Telugu Desam, Janasena and BJP will react. While Jagan has started the election season already, these parties are still scratching their heads on seats distribution.
