Mega duo, Varun Tej and his sister Niharika Konidela have announced on different occasions that they will campaign for their Babai Pawan Kalyan's JanaSena in the coming election. This comes at a time when JSP is headed for its most important campaign till date.
Varun Tej said he is ready to campaign for JSP if Pawan commands while Niharika assertively confirmed that she will indeed campaign for the party. She said she resonated with the troubles faced by farmers in 2019 and wishes to work for this cause in 2024 again.
Factually speaking, Niharika and Varun Tej had already campaigned for Nagababu in Narsapuram in the 2019 election but the latter ended up third in the electoral race.
This time, Nagababu has left Narsapuram and gone to Anakapalle MP constituency so we have to wait and see if the efforts of Varun and Niharika prove to be any bit more effective this time around.
Notably, JSP is in alliance with TDP and the proposal to use Niharika and Varun for their campaign will have to be presented before TDP first. Even if it is approved, can Varun and Niharika have any impact on the polling trends in AP?
