The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is confirmed to contest from Pulivendula constituency in the electoral battle and this is a fortress for the YS family.
However, Jagan will be facing a fair bit of adversity in the coming election in Pulivendula as the opposition parties are doing all they can to challenge him in his bastion.
While it was confirmed that TDP is fielding B.Tech Ravi here, there are reports that YS Sharmila and YS Sunitha will extensively campaign against Jagan here in the coming polls. The chances are that one of them might even contest directly against Jagan.
On top of that, Dastagiri, the former driver of late YS Vivekananda Reddy has joined Jai Bheem Party and he is confirmed to contest against Jagan in the coming election. He will field his candidature from Pulivendula.
TDP will use its campaigners Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan to extensively campaign in Pulivendula. Balakrishna might also enter the fray, we hear.
