Telugu Desam Party is infamous for its use and throw attitude. That is the reason why no alliance party continues with TDP two times in a row. But that is not the case with Pawan Kalyan and JSP. Despite the differences after 2014 elections, Pawan has gone back to TDP and will be contesting with them in 2024.
But there is a catch here. TDP is still seeing JSP as a dust bin party and is looking to solely extract the votes from their support group and in return throw away the MLA seats that they believe are waste anyway.
Apparently, TDP has listed out nearly 40 MLA seats in AP where the party hasn't won since 2004. The list includes seats like Chandragiri, Kadapa, Satyavedu, Nellore urban and others. TDP is planning to hand over all these seats to JSP as a part of the alliance.
The plan from TDP is to give away MLA tickets to JSP in constituencies that they already know they wont win. JSP anyway has no other option left so they will blindly step into the trap. This will go down as one of the worst alliance settlements in the history of AP politics, say reports.
But this kind of humiliation can hurt hardcore JSP followers as well. They would expecting some sort of dignity from TDP but that isn't the case with the CBN-led party and.
