In an unexpected turn of events, YCP MLA from Mangalagiri constituency, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy who attained fame an popularity with his famous win against Nara Lokesh in 2019 election has quit the party.
Ramakrishna Reddy resigned from the MLA post and also quit the YSRCP effective immediately. He submitted the MLA resignation letter to the AP speaker and intimated YCP that he is leaving the party.
Ramakrishna Reddy is one of the firebrand leaders in YCP but he has been staying away from the party for the last few years as he was of the opinion that he wasn't given the right recognition in the party. Now his resignation comes as a rude shock to the ruling party.
Ramakrishna Reddy will be debriefing the media in sometime now and he is expected to reveal some interesting tidbits about his due course of action in the due course. More details in this regard will be out soon.
