For the unversed, AP CID has moved the Supreme Court against the AP high court's verdict on granting the bail to Chandrababu Naidu in the skill scam. The case came to hearing today.
Shortly after the hearing commenced, the SC opined that the case is directly linked to the quash petition filed by CBN earlier. So, the verdict on the bail cancel plea will be out once the verdict on the quash petition is out, which is not too far from now.
"All the conditions imposed by November 3 order by the high court shall continue except the condition of organising or participating in public rallies or meetings. List on December 11." The court stated.
"According to us, notice should be issued. There are findings on merit in a 40-page bail order...I'll have to show findings in a bail order! And this is a case of diversion of 300 crores from public funds." The argument from the counsel of the AP CID read.
For now, Chandrababu is restrained from disclosing the facts of the case out in public and he will have to await the verdict on the quash petition. This regular bail conditions set by the HC will be in effect till then.
