Nara Lokesh has resumed the Yuvagalam Padayatra after nearly two months break in the aftermath of his father Chandrababu Naidu's arrest and he is back with his trademark troll-worthy stuff.
The first instance where Lokesh gave fodder to trolls is when he stuttered 4-5 times while speaking about farmers in Andhra Pradesh. He couldn't even complete his sentence about farmers as he kept stuttering multiple times. Even TDP leaders and supporters who took part in the meeting were seen smiling at Lokesh's struggles.
This led to a comment that Lokesh cant even a complete a sentence properly and it is a waste of time and efforts to project him as the next generation leader of TDP.
And on another instance, just hours after the stuttering, Lokesh made a wild promise to the people of Andhra Pradesh as he vowed to pay out the Thalliki Vandanam (TDP's version of Amma Vodi) on a monthly basis.
Lokesh said "The TDP government will pay out the Thalliki Vandanam scheme's Rs 15,000 financial aid to women for how many ever kids might be in the house. The money will be paid out to the beneficiaries every month".
Well, Amma Vodi scheme is paid yearly, meaning a mother of a school-going kid will be paid Rs 15,000 per year. In Lokesh's words, he said the money will be paid monthly. In that case, if a mother has 3 school going kids, she will be paid Rs 45,000 per month as a part of TDP's Thalliki Vandanam. This is impossible.
Netizens are commenting that these wild comments from Lokesh show that he has no understanding of the social fabric of the infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh. With Lokesh resuming Yuvagalam today, there will be more such troll-worthy stuff from him in the due course.
