The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Jagan Mohan Reddy kicked off several unprecedented schemes in AP including the Nadu Nedu program where he converted Telugu medium schools in the state to English medium institutions and also implemented the volunteers program.
Now, Jagan has flagged off another major scheme and this one is regarding the improvement of the sports infrastructure in the state. He took to Twitter to announce the same.
"I am thrilled to announce the kickoff of #AadudamAndhra, our state’s biggest ever statewide sports tournament! With matches held at every single Sachivalayam in the state, this initiative is created to ensure that all our youth have the best opportunities and support to nurture their sporting talent. Join me and AP’s sports stars to become the next sports champs of our country!" Jagan tweeted a little while ago.
This is a step to improve the penetration of sports culture in the state and improve the cultural significance of AP all across India by potentially creating athletes who can rule the roost in the Indian sports and athletics space.
