In a staggering fact, YSRCP is the third largest party in all of India when it comes to the number of MP seats. The party has 22 MP seats and this is next only to BJP and Congress.
In the pretext of 2024 elections, there are reports that YSRCP could be winning all 25 MP seats in the parliamentary elections which will mean a huge deal in case it turns to reality.
Now, it is evident that BJP bigwigs have started to respect Jagan a whole lot more now. Recently, Nirmala Seetharaman and Amit Shah readily gave their appointments to Jagan when he went on a tour to Delhi.
Incidentally, central water resources minister Gajendra Sigh Shekhawat has met Jagan earlier today and then tweeted "Today, along with Hon’ble CM of Andhra Pradesh Sri @ysjagan participated in the opening ceremony of the N D Gulhati Memorial lecture on ensuring water and food security through climate resilient infrastructure at the 25th ICID Congress Plenary at Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam."
The increased display of respect from the BJP bigwigs to Jagan Mohan Reddy is clearly evident here and this could well be an indication of what is to come in the coming general elections in India.
