The chief minister of AP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had been extensively focused on building cash-rich income avenues in the state. One of the tried and tested way to attain the same is developing IT hubs which nurture the booming IT sector in the state.
In accordance, Jagan has started to focus on developing not one but three tech hubs in Andhra Pradesh. The three hubs are to be geographically saturated in Vizag, Vijayawada, and Tiruapati.
8 startup incubators are currently in development in Vizag along with several educational institutions. As for Vijayawada, it has 80 tech startups and a whopping 550 tech related business outlets.
Tirupati is no lesser on the list as it has 50 tech startups and over 25 tech related business outlets. These three zones will be further developed in the next few months.
The core idea of Jagan's administration from the first day has been decentralization and he is doing the same to the fullest extent with these IT zones now. They will act as the IT precipitation points in the state and act as attracting ventures for the IT companies that are looking to invest in AP.
