Naidu taking another U-turn on NDA alliance?

After a dramatic and theatric fallout in 2019, TDP and BJP appeared to be at loggerheads in connection with Andhra Pradesh politics. These parties were literally washing each other in front of the media and appeared to be in disgust with each other.

But right before the coming elections in Andhra Pradesh, TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu visited Delhi and had a meeting with Amit Shah. He tried his best to secure prime minister Modi's appointment but that didn't happen. It was clear that TDP is bound to join the BJP in the NDA alliance.

There were even national media reports that TDP was formally invited to join in the NDA alliance and this political move seemed like a mere formality.

But all of a sudden, in his latest media interaction, Naidu came out, saying he doesn't want to rush the decision of joining the NDA alliance this time. "I was humiliated in the alliance last time and I don't want to rush into anything this time around. I will take the final call on the alliance only after a deep introspection with the internal affairs committee." Naidu said.

Well, Naidu was the one who ran to Delhi and tried to secure the appointments of the BJP top brass and somehow managed to convince them to take TDP back in NDA, But now, in front of media, he appears to have taken a U-turn saying he hasn't yet decided on the alliance.
