The turf war between Undavalli Arun Kumar and Ramoji Rao is nothing new. The old wounds are now back, becoming a highlight in Andhra Pradesh’s political arena after more than 13 years. It is known that during the YSR period, legal cases were framed against the financial company, run by Ramoji Rao. Although there are speculations that Undavalli may have the silent backing of YSRCP, facts may prove otherwise.

Undavalli is no more interested in Congress, maintains neutral stance towards BJP, criticizes BJP and doesn’t bother much about Jana Sena. Off late, he has been vocal against what he terms as misgovernance under YSRCP rule in Andhra Pradesh.

He has recently announced penning a book explaining how Ramoji Rao’s lawyers have exploited certain legal loopholes to safeguard Margadarsi and its interests. Overall, Undavalli doesn’t seem to have any particular backing and is inclined to fight a battle of his own. His mission seems to be not yielding any personal gains to him other than giving some personal satisfaction.
