Dalit atrocity case against Chandra Babu. Former AP CM, TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu is firing on all cylinders against AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and also the ruling YSRCP. He is trying to take it to the people on how AP CM Jagan troubled and tortured the backward classes and suppressed Dalits.
He even released a few posters about the crimes on Dalits and this made the YSRCP and CM Jagan furious. In the midst of all this, Social Welfare Minister Merugu Nagarjuna launched a blistering attack on Chandra Babu Naidu. He said during Chandra Babu's regime in 2014-2019 Ap topped the list of states under which atrocities on Dalits increased. He said Chandra Babu should be slapped with Dalit Atrocity Case.
He said CM Jagan has been acting swiftly on any atrocities committed against Dalits. "We are proud to tell you that if all the SC and ST people in the state are living happily with positive changes in their lifestyle, this is because of Jagan Reddy’s support to the Dalits."
He added "Atrocities against Dalits were registered largely during the 14 years when Chandrababu was chief minister. We are ready to prove the sharp increase in atrocities on Dalits during the Naidu terms. In view of these, SC and ST atrocity cases should be filed against Naidu,"
