A die-hard Jr NTR fan named Shyam was recently found dead in Chintaluru in East Godavari district. While the official word is that it was a case of suicide, there are suspicions that Shyam was murdered. As per local media reports, there are signs that he was tortured to death.
The news is that Jr NTR has issued a statement expressing his condolences. He described Shyam's untimely death as extremely saddening. The 'Devara' actor extended his profound condolences to the deceased person's family.
He then wrote that it's agonizing that the circumstances in which Shyam died have remained a mystery. He urged the concerned authorities to launch an investigation with immediate effect.
Earlier, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu demanded a probe. "The suspicious circumstances surrounding his death are alarming. I strongly urge for a thorough investigation into this matter, ensuring justice is served. It has been alleged that YSRCP members are involved. Their involvement must be probed impartially," Naidu wrote.
Already, Twitter and Facebook trends have made the issue widely known. It was not until the tweet by the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister that the issue was reported by several important media houses. It's believed that fans of all Telugu heroes are coming together to demand justice for Shyam.
