In an intriguing development, BJP leader YS Chowdary made an appearance at TDP leader Alapati Raja's residence, sparking political debate in Guntur. Raja had hosted a tea gathering attended by TDP leaders Kanna Lakshmi Narayana and Nakka Anand Babu.
Within minutes of the TDP leaders' arrival, Chowdary showed up and was warmly welcomed by them. According to media reports, TDP leaders had a private meeting with Sujana Chowdary, where they discussed the latest political developments in Andhra Pradesh.
However, Chowdary denied discussing any political matters and said that it was just a cordial gathering of old friends and nothing significant. Nevertheless, Chowdary's presence at the TDP leader's residence is noteworthy, and there may be something brewing between TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP.
Following the MLC elections, there are rumors that TDP and Jana Sena may join forces, while BJP is reportedly lagging behind, and Chowdary is said to be mediating terms. It remains to be seen how AP BJP chief Somu Veerraju, who is known to be vehemently opposed to TDP, will react to Chowdary's meeting with TDP leaders.
Does Veerraju have any knowledge of this meeting? What will he have to say as party chief? These are the questions that remain unanswered. Critics of Sujana feel he was sent as a covert by Babu to BJP and now this operation may be soon coming to an end.
