Gudivada assembly seat in AP has always been a prestigious one and since its inception, TDP has won it most of the times since its founder NT Rama Rao hails from here. But after the rise of Jagan and Kodali Nani’s exit from TDP towards YSRCP, Gudivada has been a tough nut to crack for the TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu.
The upcoming battle for 2024 in Andhra Pradesh will be a keenly contested one. Sources say that to fight Nani here, Babu is mulling different options. One such option is to bring an NTR family member here and sources say that one of NTR’s grandsons, Chaithanya Krishna may be roped in to cash in on the caste and family sentiment.
Given Nani’s entrenched position here, it may be easier said than done for the TDP to play its games here.
