The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has evolved into a big party today and it has also taken the next level as Bharatha Rashtra Samithi (BRS). The objective of this upgrade is to make its presence felt at the national level. The man behind this is K Chandrasekhar Rao and he is keen on making his presence felt at a Pan India platform.
Meanwhile, it is widely speculated that the BRS's first target is Andhra Pradesh, which shares a long and often contentious history with Telangana. The BRS may see Andhra Pradesh as a ripe target for expansion, given the political ambiguity. As such, KCR worked as a minister during the unified Andhra Pradesh time and his ancestors have roots in Andhra.
It is also heard that KCR has some real good friends in both TDP and YSRCP and even some of his community members are at a powerful position in Andhra. It is believed that if KCR takes up a Padayatra in Andhra Pradesh and focuses properly then there is a good chance that BRS might make a strong impact in the upcoming elections. Since it is being observed that KCR is not that keen on Karnataka, there is a good chance that the mentioned factors might drive him to take a walk in the neighbouring state and if he does, it is going to bear ripe fruits for BRS.
