Now, under the Right to Information Act, Kejriwal is seeking information about Modi's educational qualifications.
However, the Gujarat High Court has ruled that Modi is not required to disclose his educational qualifications. In addition, Kejriwal was fined twenty-five thousand rupees for filing the case. This has become a nationwide debate, with many questioning the need to reveal educational qualifications for political candidates.
While it is true that education is not a prerequisite for contesting elections in India, discrepancies in educational qualifications disclosed in election affidavits can be a major controversy. It is rumored that Modi earned his degree from Patna University and his postgraduate degree from Delhi University, but the opposition is questioning why he has not openly shared his educational qualifications.
