Google, Microsoft are Kamala Harris' top funders. And it's a worry...

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris’ top donor contributions as of September this year are public. Trump's top four donors are American Airlines ($134,174), Walmart ($83,908), Boeing ($82,761) and Lockheed Martin (69,552). Harris’ top four donors are Google ($1,464,292), Microsoft ($743,045), Brown & Brown ($324,568) and Johnson & Johnson ($239,394).

Google and Microsoft topping the list of Democrats' funders has sparked a debate. "The two tech giants very disproportionately donate to the Democratic Party. Between them, they control close to 100% of web browsers and search. Even with the best of intentions, they can’t help but introduce bias," commented Elon Musk, who owns X.

"The idea that Google and Microsoft while donating that kind of money aren’t manipulating users on their platform to vote for where their money is, is just comical," a lawyer named Klay Thompson commented. "Democrats are the party of Big Banks, Big Tech, Big Pharma, Big Agriculture, Big Celebrities, Diddy Parties, gender swapping kids and funneling millions of illegals into the country," a social media user with a pro-Republican preference wrote.

Many among the Indian commentariat argue that Google and Microsoft are against Indian strategic assertion and economic rise because they are pro-Dem, which is believed to be somewhat anti-India, unlike Trump. "You can see the bias in the AI generated searches on India-related searches too. The hallucinations of these engines tilt in one direction because the training models used were/are biased," senior journalist Smita Prakash said.
