"Our association traces back to our Chennai Film Institute days. He was a senior when I joined. While we were training, he would frequently drop by to share his experiences, guide us, and offer encouragement. That is how we became exceptionally close.
Later, as our careers evolved and I gained star status, he approached me with an ambition to establish himself as a film producer. Without hesitation, I did two films under his production banner. In return, I always made sure to recommend him for pivotal acting roles in my projects whenever suitable characters came up. We stood by each other through every high and low."

A Fateful Meeting Just Ten Days Ago
Recounting their poignant last conversation, Chiranjeevi revealed how deeply committed Narayana Rao was to filmmaking until his very last days:

The Unfinished Dream: Just ten days prior to his passing, Narayana Rao met Chiranjeevi to discuss his latest directorial venture—a novel concept inspired by the classic Manchu Pallaki, exploring how five close youthful friends would navigate life after growing old.

A Final Photograph: During the meeting, Narayana Rao requested Chiranjeevi to launch the film's promotional trailer, to which the Megastar readily agreed. They spent considerable time reminiscing about the past and took a photograph together before parting ways.

A Tragic Farewell: Concluding his tribute, an emotional Chiranjeevi expressed: "I advised him to take good care of his failing health and wished him 'All the best' for his film. Little did I imagine that simple wish would turn into our permanent farewell. May his noble soul rest in eternal peace.
