Star director Surender Reddy, who is known for Allu Arjun's 'Race Gurram', Ravi Teja's 'Kick' and Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy', was recently in Atlanta, US, while on a tour. On the occasion, he called on Venkat Duggireddy, a prominent Atlanta-based NRI who hails from Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. Venkat is known for playing the role of a lawyer in Sudigaali Sudheer's 'Gaalodu'; he was later seen in the thriller film 'Mystery'. He also awaits the release of a thriller titled 'Vaayu Putra'.
During a meet-and-greet session Surender Reddy had with Venkat Duggireddy, he promised to do a pan-Indian movie featuring the NRI actor in a prominent role.
'Vaayu Putra' is one of the six films in which Venkat is currently acting. He is currently also playing a major role in a film headlined by Lakshmi Manchu and in another film led by Priya Mani.
