18th ATA Convention & Youth Conference - A Grand Start, Celebrations kicked off in Style

Much awaited day has arrived. The biggest Telugu festival, ATA Convention & Youth Conference kick started with a banquet on June 7, which was eagerly awaited by Telugu people as well as others. The premises of the Georgia World Congress Center are beautifully decorated with various works of art. After 2000 and 2012, convention is being held in Atlanta. It is commendable to see so many people at one place, celebrating this beautiful evening with lots of fun, entertainment and affection. After the lighting of the holy lamp, Convention Convener Kiran Pasam and President Madhu Bommineni extended a warm invitation to all the attendees. Along with them, Core Committee Coordinator Sridhar Tirupati, Director Anil Boddireddy, National Coordinator Sai Sudini, Co-Convenor Prashanthi Asireddy, Co-Coordinator Prasheel Gookanti, Co-Director Srinivas Srirama expressed their gratitude and welcomed everyone. Sponsors are the pillars of any program and without them, no work can go forward. Along with the core committee, President Elect Jayanth Challa, Secretary Ramakrishna Reddy Ala, Treasurer Satish Reddy, Joint Secretary Tirupati Erramreddy, Joint Treasurer Ravinder Guduru and Board of Trustees honored the sponsors. ATA Awards Committee recognizes those who have shown talent in various fields. Awards were given to them today. Different styles of cultural programs impressed the audience.

Telangana state ministers Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, Sridhar Babu Duddilla, film related Srikanth, Mehreen, Neha Shetty, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and many distinguished guests thanked ATA for the invitation and conveyed best wishes to all the attendees. Anup Rubens troupe's musical concert was the highlight of the night. Delicious meals satisfied everyone's palate. Youth conference kick off is a big leap. The fact that the youth met separately, organized their own events, food etc shows how much importance ATA gives to them.

President Madhu Bommineni explained the importance of innovation, youth and future. She also requested everyone to attend many other interesting and useful programs in the next 2 days. Many people came from various non-profit organizations, not only from Atlanta but also from different places. Convener Kiran Pasha thanked all of them and elaborated the details of how this convention started, how many people were part of it and and the tremendous efforts of volunteers. ATA team thanked the guests of honor and felicitated them appropriately. This is just the beginning, there are many more events to come, let's all participate and enjoy them together.
