Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta hosts I-Day celebrations with fervour

NRIs and People of Indian Origin continue to be emotionally attached to their motherland despite living in other countries. Their patriotism comes to the fore on special occasions like Independence Day.

The Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta (TAMA) recently celebrated India's 77th Independence Day at its office in Atlanta in the presence of its key members, guests and about 270 participants (among them adults, children, senior citizens and youngsters). Even though it was a working day, the participants took out their time to pay respects to their motherland.

The National Anthem was sung on the occasion by one and all.
