Director Koratala Siva on Tuesday made it clear that his equations with Megastar Chiranjeevi remain unaffected despite the failure of 'Acharya'. He blamed the media for conjuring up a non-existent gulf between him and the Megastar. The successful filmmaker also suggested that the 'Waltair Veerayya' actor was the first to wish him a strong comeback after the failure of their movie in 2022.
A few years ago, Siva was supposed to team up with Allu Arjun. For some reason, the project didn't take off. By any chance, is 'Devara' the story Siva was supposed to do with Bunny? "There is absolutely no link between the two," the 'Srimanthudu' director clarified.
The 'Bharat Ane Nenu' maker revealed that six months of extensive planning went into the pre-viz for 'Devara'. He feels blessed to have worked with gifted technicians (read Anirudh, Rathnavelu and Sabu Cyril).
'Devara', starring Jr NTR in a dual role, will have a cliffhanger-like ending. "Tarak was excited when I talked about the central theme of 'bhayam'. Fear could mean different things depending on the context. When you have a sense of fear, you will be answerable, accountable, and duty-minded," Koratala said.
'Devara', whose advance bookings are on a rampage, will hit the screens on September 27.
