Senior comedian Gautam Raju's son Krishna is making his big-screen debut this year. He is planning to come up with new and fresh stories which are content-driven.
A couple of years ago, Krishna made his acting debut with the OTT release, 'Krishnarao Supermarket'. After a brief hiatus, he is making his silver screen debut with an entertainer titled 'Khiladi Kurrollu'.
Those in the know say that Krishna is determined and focused. He is also glad that 'Khiladi Kurrollu' has shaped up solidly in terms of its entertainment value. "The film is currently in the post-production phase. The entire cast and crew are eager about its release," a source says. The title of the movie has a positive ring, considering that 'Committee Kurrollu' recently became an unexpected blockbuster at the box office.
It is also learned that Krishna has lined up four to five other projects, which are in different stages of evolution. "The young chap is also taking on a special role in a film featuring a big star," the source adds.
As for Gautam Raju, he made his debut as an actor with the film 'Vasantha Geetam', starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, in 1984. 'Sri Katna Leelalu', 'Coolie No.1', 'Gharana Mogudu', among others, are his other popular titles.
