The heartwarming family drama 'Manamey' is proving to be a box office hit! Starring Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty as an unconventional couple caring for their friends' child, the film by People Media Factory has seen a significant jump in collections on Saturday compared to its opening day on Friday.
The Sriram Adittya directorial continues to impress. After a strong opening day with 55,000 tickets sold on BookMyShow, sales surged by 21% on day two, reaching a total of over 67,000 bookings. This positive trend suggests the movie is resonating with audiences.
As per a trade report by ABO, the film started gaining momentum after a slow start. Night shows, especially in multiplexes, had good occupancies on both Day 1 and Day 2.
The film, produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, also features Shiva Kandukuri, Adith Arun, Rahul Ravindran, Rahul Ramakrishna, and others. Hesham Abdul Wahab's music has been liked by the audience.
Meanwhile, Krithi Shetty thanked the audience for showering love on the movie. "Extremely grateful to all for the love that has been showered on 'Manamey'. Your appreciation means a lot. Will take this lovely energy and work harder," the 'Uppena' actress added.
