'Paarijatha Parvam', starring Chaitanya Rao and Harsha Chemudu as friends who encounter serious troubles in their quest for money, is produced by Mahidhar Reddy and Devesh. Helmed by Santosh Kambhampati, the film is going to hit OTT soon.
Aha Video will start streaming the crime comedy from June 12.
The entertainer features Chaitanya Rao as a wannabe director, while Harsha's character wants to don the grease paint and prove himself. Sunil plays an aspiring actor who has accidentally turned into a gangster. Sreekanth Iyyengar plays a film producer who is in a clandestine extra-marital relationship with his mistress. When Chaithanya and his friend hatch a plan to abduct the producer's mistress to extort money, the whole plan turns topsy-turvy. The rest of the film involves something of a cat-and-mouse chase after elaborate phone calls result in a comedy of errors.
The film is difficult to sit through. It turns out to be a mediocre kidnap drama that is woefully derivative and inadequate. Shraddha Das of 'Guntur Talkies' fame, Surekha Vani, Gundu Sudarshan and others are part of the cast. Ree and Bala Saraswati, respectively, are its music director and cinematographer.
