'Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana' is unpredictable until climax: Raashi Singh

Raashi Singh, who has previously done 'Sashi' and 'Prem Kumar' in Telugu, awaits the release of 'Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana' on March 1. The mystery crime thriller starring Shiva Kandukuri as a detective is helmed by debutant director Purushottam Raj.

In her latest interview, Raashi revealed that she has been put up in Hyderabad with her family. "I come from Raipur, Chattisgarh. While I pursued my studies at Delhi University and later resided in Mumbai, working as an air hostess with IndiGO for a year, my true passion has always been to become a heroine. Since my childhood, I have been vocal about my aspirations to be a leading lady on screen, not merely an artist or actress," she adds.

She landed 'BBN' rather accidentally. "The dialogues in this film are lengthy and hard to mouth. The filmmakers required someone proficient in Telugu, and I happened to possess that skill. Securing this role was purely a stroke of destiny in my favor. I play a reporter who has got a lot of screen time. It's not a glamorous part; you won't see me prancing around the bushes. I portray a girl-next-door character, allowing me to showcase my acting prowess. There is no separate romantic track as such. It is woven into the main plot," Raashi says.

Raashi says that the audience won't be able to guess the climax. "This is the kind of film that you will want to watch in a theatre. The background score induces goosebumps," she says, adding that she didn't dub for her character because the slang and diction had to sound rooted.

The film's music has been done by Sricharan Pakala.
