'Dear Uma' actress Sumaya Reddy donates money for temple

Sumaya Reddy, a Telugu girl from Andhra Pradesh, is the story-writer, producer and female lead of 'Dear Uma'. Pruthvi Ambaar has been selected by Suma Chitra Arts to portray the male protagonist in the upcoming film. Penned and directed by Sai Rajesh Mahadev, the narrative revolves around a young aspiring rockstar entangled in a whirlwind romance with a woman he is smitten by.

The news is that Sumaya Reddy has made a donation for the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Simhadripuram. A special pooja was performed in the temple by her. "I am coming up with my first movie ‘Dear Uma’. The teaser for my movie has got a superb response. We are going to release the film in May," she told the media, sounding confident about 'Dear Uma' becoming a hit at the box-office.

Actors and actresses, directors and producers usually visit temples ahead of the release of their important movies. For Sumaya, 'Dear Uma' is a personal milestone. Her screen presence in the recently-released teaser was compelling.

With Raj Thota as the cameraman and Radhan as the music director, the film stars Kamal Kamaraju, comedian Saptagiri, Ajay Ghosh, Aamani, Rajeev Kanakala, Prithviraj and Roopa Lakshmi in different roles.
